What are your opening hours for room hire?

We offer flexible booking slots to suit your schedule. Our standard timings are:

  • Half Day: 08:30 – 12:30 or 13:00 – 17:00

  • Full Day: 09:00 – 17:00

  • Evening: 18:00 – 22:00

Can I look at the rooms before booking?

Absolutely. We encourage potential clients to take a tour of our heritage building and modern extension. Please contact our team at 0121 236 2317 to arrange a convenient time. Alternatively you can take a look around the venue online via our interactive virtual tour.

Is the venue fully accessible?

Yes. All areas of The Priory Rooms are fully accessible. Our ground floor is level-access, and a lift provides entry to our lower-ground meeting rooms. We also have a dedicated accessible WC on the ground floor.

Do you have on-site parking?

We have very limited on-site parking, which we prioritise for disabled guests and event facilitators. This must be pre-booked. For all other delegates, we offer a discounted rate at the nearby B4 Car Park on Weaman Street (a 4-minute walk). Simply validate your registration at our reception to claim the discount.

Is Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning included?

Yes, all of our nine meeting rooms are equipped with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and individual air conditioning units to ensure your delegates stay connected and comfortable.

How do I confirm a provisional booking?

Provisional bookings are held for 7 days. To confirm, we require a signed contract and, in some cases, a purchase order. For new organisations or bookings over £4,000, a 75% deposit is required 14 days before the event. Book your perfect space today!

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand plans change. Our cancellation charges are based on how much notice is given:

  • 10+ weeks notice: No charge.

  • 7–10 weeks: 25% of estimated charges.

  • 3–6 weeks: 50% of estimated charges.

  • 1–2 weeks: 85% of estimated charges.

  • Less than 1 week: 100% of estimated charges.

What catering options do you provide?

We offer a variety of fresh, locally sourced catering packages, ranging from light refreshments to full working lunches. In line with our Quaker values, we use Fairtrade tea and coffee.

Do you cater to specific dietary requirements?

Yes. We can accommodate most dietary needs, including Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Halal. Please notify us of any allergies or requirements when confirming your booking.

What is "Meat Free Monday"?

To support sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint, we operate Meat Free Mondays, serving an entirely vegetarian menu every Monday. If your event requires a meat-based menu on a Monday, please let us know during the booking process to opt-out.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

As a Quaker-run organisation, we do not hold a license for the supply or consumption of alcohol on the premises. We provide a professional, alcohol-free environment perfect for focused business meetings and training.
