Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

The Priory Rooms Meeting and Conference Centre is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We are dedicated to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our own business or in our supply chains.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken and are continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Due Diligence Processes

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk:

  • We are reviewing our existing supplier relationships to assess potential modern slavery risks.
  • We are working to incorporate due diligence regarding modern slavery into our supplier selection process.
  • We are increasing awareness of modern slavery issues amongst our staff.
  • We will encourage the reporting of any concerns.

Our Commitment

We recognise that modern slavery is a complex issue, and we are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat it. We will continue to review and update our policies and procedures as necessary to ensure that we are taking all reasonable steps to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.
