Charity discount – We offer all charities and not-for-profit organisations, a 10% discount on their bookings with us.
Charity support – Surplus food is donated to local charity, Let’s Feed Brum, a charity who provides support for the homeless. All remaining food, is converted in to green energy.
Sourcing Local catering and purchasing Fair-trade refreshments – These environmentally responsible choices contribute to community wellbeing, by supporting local supply chains and minimising environmental impact.
We’re a Not-for-profit venue – Our trading profits are donated to Central England Quakers, helping fund community-focused projects.
While primarily a professional venue, the broader Quaker network we support, also offers community rooms in other local meeting houses for groups and activities.
Travel sustainably – Take public transport where possible. We have excellent public transport links within the City Centre. We are within walking distance of three major train stations, tram stops and bus stops. If you must drive, you could use an electric vehicle or car share.
Opt for Meat free catering – We support the “Meat Free Monday” campaign and encourage vegetarian and vegan options to help reduce our impact on the planet. You can choose to go meat free any day of the week.
Recycle – Recycle correctly when attending our venue by using the designated recycling points throughout our building.
Turn off taps – We’re always continuing our efforts to be more sustainable and having censored taps within our toilets, is certainly on our to-do list. In the meantime, help us by ensuring that you fully turn off the taps after you’ve finished washing your hand.
